J. MATTHEW KRAMER
J. MATTHEW KRAMER
President and CEO
Experience: Prior to The Catholic Foundation, Mr. Kramer headed Kramer Global Advisory, LLC and Leopard International Company. He gained 29 years of international business and leadership experience at Dallas-based Commercial Metals Company (CMC), most recently at CMC Americas Executive Vice President. Decisive, high-integrity business leader who succeeded with highly complex businesses on a global scale through the ups and downs of economic cycles, Mr. Kramer led divisions to substantial growth and profitability.

Community and Professional Activities: Mr. Kramer has been active in local parishes and Catholic organizations for more than 35 years. He served with his wife, Kris, as co-chair of the $15 million Catholic Charities of Dallas Endowment Campaign. He is a member of St. Rita Catholic Community, Metro Serra Club of Dallas, Legatus Dallas along with the Dallas Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Council of North Texas. Mr. Kramer is a board member at Central States Manufacturing Inc. of Lowell, Arkansas and a member of the North Texas District Export Council.

Educational and Professional Certification: St. Louis University – BBA Russian Studies with a minor in Business Administration

CHERYL UNIS MANSOUR
CHERYL UNIS MANSOUR
Vice President of Development
Responsible: Overall responsibility for Foundation development and marketing activities

Experience: Prior to coming to The Catholic Foundation in 2005, Cheryl served as Vice President of External Affairs of Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT), which she joined in 1993. At CFT, she was responsible for the Foundation’s relationships with clients; the media; other non-profit organizations; local, regional and national philanthropic entities, and the community at large. She negotiated terms of philanthropic gifts and participated in the administration of CFT’s individual funds and awarding of grants.

Community Activities: Cheryl Unis Mansour, a native of Dallas, has been involved in community and church service, both professionally and as a volunteer, for many years. Cheryl is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, the Ursuline Academy Alumni Association, Charter 100, The City Club of Dallas, Serra Club of Dallas and Dallas Vocation Guild.

Professional Organizations: Cheryl holds membership on the Dallas Estate Planning Council, the Estate Planning Council of North Texas, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the National Association of Charitable Giving Planners. She regularly attends both regional and national seminars and workshops relating to philanthropic giving and stewardship.

CAROL P. McDONALD, CPA
CAROL P. McDONALD, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Responsible: For all financial activities of the organization, i.e. accounting, payroll, benefits, insurance, tax filings and investments.

Experience: Director of Financial Controls for SEI Benefit Services, a division of SEI Investment Services Corporation providing record keeping services to large and mid-size corporations for their 401(k) plans and other retirement plans, for eight years. Responsible for several large corporations, from both an operational as well as marketing aspect. Mrs. McDonald began her career with Price Waterhouse and was an audit senior upon her departure from the firm after six years of service.

Community Activities: Active in her church for many years, Carol also served as Treasurer for the Board of Directors of Jonathan’s Place (d.b.a. Kidnet Foundation).

R. MICHAEL GEORGE, CFRE
R. MICHAEL GEORGE, CFRE
Senior Development Officer
Responsible: For donor relationships and assisting with planned gifts to the Foundation.

Experience: Michael held various management positions in a business career spanning 18 years. His most recent position prior to joining The Catholic Foundation was a director of the annual Catholic Community Appeal for the Diocese of Dallas.

Professional Organizations: National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, The Dallas Estate Planning Council, The Estate Planning Council of North Texas and he currently serves on the Board of the Dallas Chapter of The Association Fundraising Professionals and is a past president of the organization.

Community Activities: Serra Club of Dallas, Knights of Columbus and active at St. Rita Catholic Community as a member and Past Chairman of the Stewardship Council.

MICHAEL J. MURRAY, J.D.
MICHAEL J. MURRAY, J.D.
Senior Development Officer
Responsible: For donor relationships, assisting with planned gifts to the Foundation and community relations.

Experience: Mike previously served as the Executive Director of Heroic Media. A licensed attorney, Mike previously practiced law in Dallas for 15 years, beginning as a criminal prosecutor. He began his professional career teaching, coaching and serving as admissions officer at Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas.

Community Activities: Served as a board member on the Catholic Pro-Life Committee and currently serves as an ad hoc member to the Board of Trustees Marketing Committee at the University of Dallas. Member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas More Society, Serra Club, Dallas Bar Association and St. Monica Parish.
